The Commission is to support parishes in providing good liturgy in which the faithful can encounter Christ. We look to achieve this by: 

• catechesis of the laity in the liturgy and ongoing formation of the clergy

• supporting people in their various ministries and sharing good practice 

• fostering a high standard of music, and encouraging musicians

• supporting parishes in providing good quality liturgy  

These goals may be reached by hosting workshops, providing online resources, and engaging with the talented people of our schools and parishes.

We also aim to develop the devotional life of the local church through the rediscovery of Benediction, Marian devotions and Forty Hours and the musical patrimony of the Church.
